Welcome to the Irmiger Photo Album
Listed by date posted in reverse chronological order (newest stuff first)
- Between September 20 and October 11 of 2000, Marco and his friend
Laurence returned to the South Bend for a three week visit. They
spent about a week with us and two weeks on their own circumnavigating Lake Michigan. While I don't
have any pictures of their lake travels, I do have a few snapshots...
- Halloween 1998: Robin Hood with an attitude
- Christmas 1997: Uncle Chris Barlow
- Christmas 1997: Fred and Gretchen
- Christmas 1997: Sophie and Spud
- Don receiving a neighborhood service award
from the Near West Side Neighborhood Organization Nov 1997.
- Donnie, Curt, Ted and Gretchen circa 1965 from my Dad's collection.
Warning: this is a 300 bpi B&W scan and will be large (~600K)

- Sophie Rick in a compromising position...
- Margaret hamming it up at FanFare at IMS during "Fast Friday" (May 10, 1997)
- Margaret's first science fair. Mom helped (a lot).
- Curt, Don, Gretchen and David Rick at Thanksgiving 1990.
One of the few Thanksgivings at the Tomah ranch (now our uncle Chris Barlow's home) that we
didn't freeze our butts off. David's a little too interested in his new GameBoy...
- Don and his partner Bill Steenbeke at Memorial Hospital 1990.
Subtitled: the nightmare that Don built...
- Adria's wedding gown. Nice, huh?
- A very happy baby Margaret. She's a cutie.
- Crash 'n Burn Irmiger. Taken at Inconjunction while I was helping
my friend John Holt with his comic book concession. Great hat.
- RiverCon flunkies ham it up at lunch at one of the greatest hotels
in the world: the Galt House in Louisville, KY. That shirt was stylish during the Miami Vice
craze.
- Dad and Margaret when she was about 5 wks old. Dad's sizing her
up for a new motorcyle.
- Adri and Rose relaxing. The Girls of Irmiger Haus during the
pre-baby era.
- Don and Margaret at a wheelchair basketball practice. Aren't we
a pair?
- Don on the campaign trail. During my ill-fated attempt to run
for South Bend School Board. Don't ask...
- Don and the boys out at the fights. Jim Milliken and I and a few
friends go to see local hero Harold Brazier defend his title. He won.
- Don and Doug Anthony shoot hoops during an Information Resources
retreat at Ferrette-Baugo county park. What style..
- Spudley
- Adria and Margaret Christmas morning 1990. It's a little too
early for the muffin-muncher.
- Don and Adria sport new "brims" during a Holy Cross boat outing.
Man, is this a good look!
- Margaret is not too crazy about Santa. "Daddy, I wanna go home!"
Santa's not too thrilled either.
- Baby Margaret.
In her winter wardrobe.
- After a few years, Margaret turns biker.
Another view.
Spud gets into the act too.
Even Don and Adria pose for a photo.
- If you haven't guessed, my Dad loves his motorcycles.
He's particularly fond of his 1946 Indian.
- Sometimes Don has a little too much fun.
Even at the office. Could it have something to do with
nostril inspection? Don can be
fun at parties. Particularly when he
drinks in moderation. He attributes his
success with women to his mentor,
Bill Steenbeke.
Particularly, his office romances with young girls.
- If you didn't know, Don not only loves to eat, but also loves to
cook!
